They couldn't make free throws but they outplayed Syracuse from start to finish, Cincy has been underrated all year. Syracuse is a very good team but they aren't winning anything this year. Cuse needs to force turnovers and hit outside shots to win, they are far from great in halfcourt offense.

And remember, UConn almost beat them in a very lackluster performance at Gampel. Cincy needed a last second heave 3 to win it.

You guys and your arbitrary criteria are hilarious. As if anyone really cares whether you lost in the S16 or E8 (it makes for some nice message board smack though, so there's that). If we got to play Ga Tech or Butler instead of Indiana and Kentucky in 87/96 I guess everyone would forget about March failures that every good program endures just like everyone forgets San Diego, NC St & George Mason.
