They’re just bad.

Really bad - and they’re bad by design.

Boeheim/Girard would be an okay backcourt at, like, Niagara or Fairfield.but JB has them out there like they’re all-ACC candidates. And they’ll be bad next year because Boeheim is absolutely committed to that tire fire in the back court.

Add in the fact that they’re recruiting badly and they still have that five year ‘we hired the wrong guy’ period coming that everyone goes through after replacing a hall of famer and you can almost kiss off the decade there.

Remember when Andre Jackson turned them down because he wanted playing time? He’d start at like nine positions at Syracuse and probably be asked to drive the team bus.

I agree with everything you've said except Kadary Richmond looks like a keeper.

With Boeheim/Girard at a combined 33.9 fg% and 33.3 3p%, an unbiased coach would have Buddy off the bench and start Richmond along with Girard.

They allowed 64 points in the second half...their backcourt is slower than any two random members of this board.

"Hey genius. Don't underestimate slowness. Glaciers are unstoppable."

There’s no way he stays for another year of this.

Meh.....................................................
Who cares
Cuse hasn't been relevant for years and they are in the ACC
Then again so isn't BCU

That zone doesn't work in 2020.

Kadary Richmond is a gem though. Especially if he learns to shoot it. If he transfers I'd like to think our relationship with him will make us a potential landing spot. The ability to create off the bounce is rate--he's got it.

Best case scenario Jimmy Jr transfers in and he stays coaching his two sons and their friend, who should all be playing at Valparaiso, for one year. The laughs will be endless.

It has been such a beautiful ride, watching their fan base tongue bathe Girard (the guy that could have gone to dook!) only to see them turn on him 18 months later. His limitations were there for everyone to see, only they would not acknowledge them until it the last month or two.

agreed, that's why we were recruiting him
