Hilarious how much they're all complaining about how many games they can't watch on TV now that they're in the mighty ACC.

Meanwhile, UConn, in the crud AAC...will end up having something like 22 games on ESPN networks. Not ESPN3...networks.

In a close second for irrational humor is their shock- SHOCK!- that Boeheim seems to want to play just zone all game, even when it isn't working. Shocked! How could he! If only there was precedent!

Boeheim doesn't develop talent , especially on the defensive end. MCW was that good in HS. Who is commiting there ? Idk what hoopers like playing a zone ( see ollie).

Still would not want to play them come tourney time. We can't shoot to save our lives right now and we're not going to beat the zone by going down low...

Some need to be careful what they wish for! Agreed CT

Point taken. Actually I don't really dislike Cuse at all. .

Go stand in the corner, face the wall and don't come out until you're ready to apologize to the 'yard.

We have good shooters who have gone cold. Giffey , Napier , Boatright, Daniels ( as maligned as he is on here), all terrific shooters . Syracuse last year was a much better team, we are a better than we were last year. Rakeem Christmas is worst than Nolan just keep that in mind.

The good shooters went cold because we played Cincinnati who plays great defense. Rutgers' D is like a blast furnace for shooters.

Connecticut's 2011 team showed that teams that suck can win the championship. They give us all hope(because almost everybody sucks).

UConn was not great during the regular season, but UConn rode the huge adrenaline pump of MSG and winning 5 in 5 in the tourney. Rather than going to MSG this year 'Cuse will be taking a lovely trip to Greensboro and will have little if any home crowd support.

That was the first time I saw 'cuse this season. I was not impressed with CJ fair. He got a boatload of points, but there's something slow about his game. I don't know if he's not giving full effort or what it is. He hit a 3 late in the game and there's this huge windup to get his shot off. He strikes me as another player who gets it done in college but will struggle mightily in the NBA. I'm not sure I'd even draft him.

Funny thing about Cuse's stumbles is how it should reflect on Duke. Duke had the resume of a top 15 team, which they were, but they zoomed up to top 5 on the merits of a close loss at the Carrier Dome. The place where BC and Georgia Tech just pulled out wins. Somehow I doubt the voters take another look at that.

Cuse is a little thin right now with Grant injured. They will be a tough matchup for opponents come tourney time because of their athletes and their zone. It isn't enough to get them to a FF but they are a talented team despite their record lately.

That's the fickleness of the polls. They're based on week-to-week perceptions and snap-judgements, rather than a measured look at the entire season.

Fortunately, the thing that matters is NCAA Tournament seeding, which is determined based on the resume as it's evaluated at the end of the year.

We were cold vs. USF, Cincinnati, SMU, and Temple. Now Temple and USF don't play remotely good defense. We're just cold right now and you can't deny that.

And Christmas is better than Nolan. You can't deny that either, and the stats don't support you. He may do intangible things better, but I'd rather have Christmas grabbing 5 rebounds a game rather than Nolan fouling out and grabbing 3.8. Its not a dig on Nolan, just Christmas is better.

Nolan was playing more than Christmas in those pan am games right ? This is what I'm basing my opinion on. Also cooney can shoot all threes he wants off screen , especially with kromah in his gut. The only issue with a cuse matchup IMO is grant destroying us on the glass. Cuse is automatically at a disadvantage with the inability to control pace with different defenses.
