Sydney Moss leaving UF

Sydney Moss, who had a pretty standout season as a freshmen at UF, is transferring and apparently wants to be within 3-4 hours of Huntingon, WVa. adds to the transfers out of Chandler Cooper (to Lipscomb University apparently) and Vicky McIntyre (Transfer from Oklahoma State) just over this summer. UF seemed like they were going to be trouble in SEC next year, with Chandler Cooper joining the squad after injury and Sydney Moss developing the way she did and the addition of Ronni Williams, but now it seems it may not do so hot.

I was thinking that would a pretty small set of schools, but after checking a map, I see that Huntington is more west than I had thought.
Louisville, UK, Cinci, Xavier, Ohio St, VaTech, Marshall would all be options. (+ a lot of lower-level D1 schools)

3 transfers in a year is never a good thing

One would think that FL could be quite good -- they are close to fertile recruiting territory in Florida and Georgia. And have an overall strong athletic program. Not sure why no one has been able to do it.

I wonder if that's what happened with Chandler Cooper! She was a highly rated recruit and transferred to Lipscomb!

Did not realize that. Any idea what's going on there? Seems like a disproportionate number of transfers in such a short period of time...

Her refusal to allow a transfer to any BCS school is pretty petty and malicious. If I were a recruit or parent, I would definitely not play for someone that mean.

I would guess the Coach will give in eventually. Otherwise, big time bad PR move.
