Sydney "Bean" Douglas was born on September 16, 2008. SheGiven her age would not be shocked to see a reclassifying to class of 2027
Which may explain the purported “urgency”
Regarding recruiting
Wrong Ontario - not the Great White North, the other one out on the left coast. With UCONN's track record of Canadians Kia Nurse and Aaliyah Edwards and relatively close distance to Ontario (I can't think of any top US women's basketball program that is closer), I think we have a good shot with her.
Ontario... as in Ontario Christian School, Ontario, CA. The "Bean's"Wrong Ontario - not the Great White North, the other one out on the left coast.
Thanks for the clarifications. It’s all to complicated for me.Even during dead periods, most communication is still allowed. Coaches can still email or text or talk on the phone with recruits. The only limitation is that there can be no face-to-face contact.
This is different from quiet periods, Weir face-to-face contact is allowed on the schools campus.
Background data source: try Googling: FIBA Sydney Douglas (USA) - basketball stats, height/age. It should come up with: Sydney Douglas Date of Birth Sep 16, 2008 and have her height as 196 cm / 6'5".If this girl was truly born on September 16, 2008, does anybody know WHY this 17 year old is a high school freshman and not a junior or senior? Did her parents hold her back (2 years) for some reason other than perhaps the obvious?
Better check your date. She's only 16 and doesn't turn 17 for 8 months. If this girl was truly born on September 16, 2008, does anybody know WHY this 17 year old is a high school freshman and not a junior or senior? Yep, my error! However, that still means she will be a 19 year old high school senior, so it doesn't really change the scenario much. Around 5% of high school seniors are 19 at graduation.Better check your date. She's only 16 and doesn't turn 17 for 8 months.
