Every single home game is on National TV with their own network. With them playing well, nearly every away game will be on National TV. They are one of the most popular brands in all of sports.

Absolutely right. ND sucking it up and playing the ACC every year in football was the price they paid to stay independent and play ACC basketball. They will use that leverage to schedule Duke to play them at the Vatican if they so desire.
