Sweet Sixteen 3/24

Best UConn player to never have a decent team around him.
100%. I always thought he played his heart out and balled. He got way too much criticism here on the Boneyard.

Watching these games tonight makes me realize how far away our team actually was from level. Other than Nova/Michigan, those other teams absolutely destroy us tonight. This program has come so far last few years but it’s still has a depressingly far way to go and looking at the coaches advancing I don’t know if ours is capable like they are.
Really? I thought Gonzaga and Arkansas looked like arse. None of these teams look great.

We could have an all Final Four of teams we don't want to win the title: Duke, UNC/UCLA, Nova, Kansas. Yikes.

.-.
But he missed his FTs... Some things never change

Carlton's free throw motion is ridiculous. He is not even looking at the basket throughout the shot motion. The coaches had to have completely given up on his FT form to let him use that absurd motion.

So started both Sanogo and Carlton? You can't possibly be serious

If you want a better 3 point percentage, you should have two bigs on the court at the same time.

Maybe you don't like 3 pointers.

Imagine what Sampson will be able to do recruiting in the Big 12.

Why wouldn’t we want Nova?
Big East winning national championships only helps us.
Nova has three titles. They would tie us. Providence is the BE school we should be rooting for.

.-.
Houston handled AZ, I don't think Nova will be too much for them.

The sad thing is I know you're actually serious when you say this. Legitimately the dumbest of your numerous dumb opinions

Right. Let's have a mediocre 3 point shooter stand next to a good 3 point shooter on the perimeter and call it "stretching the floor" when any decent defense can cover both of them with one player. All the mediocre 3 point shooter does is make it easier for defenses to rotate.

I like Houston over Villanova. Houston has a good chance to win the title. The American conference might get its 2nd title in mens hoops.

PS: The conditioning program at Houston under Sampson is at another level. Everyone on their team is lean, strong, and can run, hustle all game long.

Tech can't guard Williams at all at the rim and yet they're tied up with 4 minutes left.

Williams is so underrated

I would say vital

Jalen was more naturally talented but didn’t put it together in the same way vital did Imo.

But I can see the argument for both
