Sunday Games Thread

Beavs taking terrible contested shots in traffic. Although Pivec got hacked somewhere in that triple team w/ no call. Then Washington draws a foul while shooting.

Somebody other than Ibis finally scored, Embilto (?). Pivec fouled on other end, shot rolls off the rim.

another pair of FTs, if they hit 1 more in regulation game is already over

Slocum back in OSU w/ a chance to take the lead, she almost threw it away

Pivec w/ a step back jumper 66-64 59 seconds left, time out ASU

.-.
And suddenly the refs decide that ASU needs to have some fouls called on them. They have kept Oregon State in this game.

Well they did some swallowing of the whistle earlier. Pivec got hacked right before Washington went to the line.

Slocum gets burned, then commits a foul. And 1 for Richardson. She has just been terrible today.

Missed the FT but ASU gets the O board, chance to win.

shot clock violation wow

OSU ball 13.8 seconds left

OMG Ibis got hammered on that play and no foul.

.-.
Announcers crying for a foul call there for Ibis, refs didn't call it.

Hammered is an extreme overstatement. There was some contact but that looked clean on the ball.

You need to take off your beaver glasses.

We can disagree. I've been watching the whole game. Beavs had some bad calls or no calls go against them throughout. That was not a hammer on Ibis.

OSU falls asleep and ASU gets an uncontested layup to start

Looked like a foul, though not a "hammer".

Pivec has kept this possession alive twice.

Pivec did it again. 3 times this possession.

Joan Bonvicini is an impartial observer and she said it was clearly a foul on Slocum that was uncalled.

I still can't get past Rueck switching Goodman for Slocum when they had all the momentum. They've really never gotten back into a flow since then, regardless of which PG is in the game. He's shuffling them back and forth now but they're stagnant either way. He outsmarted himself today.

I said there was contact but disagreed w/ you saying she was "hammered."

Pivec draws them back within 1, then Ibis answers. She's been awesome today. 28 points.
