Sunday (3/17) games: Seven final tickets to punch

Obviously I wanted the Camels to get over the hump and make the NCAAs.... but Radford was the best team in the Big South.... hadnt made the tourney since 1996. and lost one of the most painful games Ive ever seen in the 2017 Tourney final.... so you feel good for the kids and their fans.

And it puts #2 High Point as the WNIT automatic bid. Aren't the Pointers one your 17 home teams?

And if Pointers get an Automatic bid, well you know what we have to say:

Bubble teams quaking at Missouri St's double digit lead on Drake late in the 3rd

MoSt exploded in the 3rd quarter for a 21-point lead but Drake has cut it to 10 in the 4th quarter.

.-.
So with MoSt winning the game, is Tenn spot on the bubble even more tenuous?

MoSt wins.
Hopefully they (the committee) will "Just Say No" to the Tennessee and get it over with, or if they do make it give them a 16 seed as a crumb.

Definitely, but it's also more tenuous for the likes of UCF, Ohio and TCU.

That's not the "company" line! Repeat after me "Tenn is in big trouble for not making the NCAAT"...

I'm sorry but no team that can not win in its conference should get an at large bid over teams that had winning records not only in their conference but also in there OOC. Teams like Ohio won their regular season conference, UCF was second only to UConn in their conference, TCU had a better record against ranked opponents then Tennessee and they didn't lose to any teams like Vandy.

TCU and Ohio both played horrible nonconference schedules.
UCF has zero wins over at-large-caliber teams.
Tennessee has 5 wins over at-large teams but bad losses to Vanderbilt and Alabama.

I actually believe Ohio is the safest of these four. I think the last spot could come down to UCF, TCU or Tennessee.

Where's the love for West Virginia? They defeated Iowa St, Texas, and Kansas State.

Where's the hate for the Pac12? Utah beat Cal, Arizona, and Stanford. USC beat Utah, UCLA, and Cal.

Utah beat Florida and Alabama. But who hasn't beaten Alabama? Tennessee, that's who. 86-65

Who has the higher RPI UCF or Tennessee? UCF is 15, Ohio is 34, and TCU is 57, There are 58 teams who have a higher RPI than Tennessee, to include Penn who just lost to Princeton.

Yes, but RPI is not the deciding factor. Never has been.

West Virginia's atrocious nonconference schedule killed them.
The same can be said for Utah, along with their collapse down the stretch of the season.

Central Michigan won the MAC, not Ohio
CMU won the Western Division and Ohio won the Eastern Division. They each got a trophy for winning their divisions, while CMU was the number one seed and Ohio was #2.

Doesn't matter anyway the FIX is in, ESPN has said that Tennessee is in so the committee will make it happen.Head bang

Not WCBB related... but I need to rant.... Another reason to hate the Oregon Ducks........ they upset Washington in last night's Men's Pac-12 Final...... stealing a spot for a bubble team. Not sure of the official last four out.... but they listed my UNCG spartans as the first team on that list. Head bangHead bangHead bangHead bangHead bangHead bangHead bang

Perhaps Tennessee will announce that they really don't deserve to be in the NCAA. They will step aside in favor of Arkansas, a much more interesting team.

For once a mid-major knows what it feels like to have a power-5 team steal their bid :D

 Alot of upset people here in Greensboro this evening, and Raleigh

Lobo is not espn
You have every talking head at ESPN saying that Tennessee is in, they are pushing for them to be in. Who is paying the NCAA to cover the tourney, ESPN, so as I stated earlier ESPN says that Tennessee is in. Can anyone tell me what other "At Large" bid teams has a losing conference record.

I think both Ohio and Tenn are safely in - I think TCU and UCF should be sweating bullets. And out of the SEC I pick Auburn over Ark.

Almost every year there are at-large teams that went under .500 in conference.
Two of the other "debatable 8" teams (Indiana and Arkansas) finished under .500 in conference.
Two years ago Cal got an at-large bid after going 6-12 in the Pac-12.
