I expect a much-improved ND team that potentially could give UConn a real tussle........Citron is the one to worry about.........she has all the important characteristics of a UConn guard and as far as I'm concerned is the one recruit that got away....
A toss of the coin to me means it could go either way. You see it as meaning equal. We have different interpretations. I thought the point of the BY was to be able to express opinions with knowledgeable fans. If we disagree, we disagree.

Agreed. This year’s team has not evolved as of yet into the juggernaut everyone projected before the season began. Women’s basketball has become more competitive and teams are no longer intimidated just sharing the court with UConn. ND has talent, but UConn should win, but the Huskies haven’t played a complete game so far.
Both she and Miles played very composed yesterday.
Over the next couple of years, that well maybe a true statement. Sonia Citron might well be the one that "Got Away"
I've been following her since 2018......for those that don't know her.....if they saw her last night against Michigan State they'd know that statement is true already.......
That assessment of Citron is a bit harsh. Seven games into her collegiate career and she is pegged as inconsistent? I suppose every UConn player is a paragon of consistency? First, she’s coming off the bench, blending into a new system and trying to determine her role. Oh, and she drops 29 on the road against a quality team.
I wish our bench player's were as inconsistent as Citron.
Speaking of "One That Got Away" - Brunelle only played 4 minutes last night and did not score. Anybody know what's up?
I recall it being noted she's dealing with a back issue. Limited minutes to see how she's handling game play.
Well, #1, Sam is NOT "One that got away", UConn did not want her when all was said and done. #2. Sam was miscast during her first year in South Bend as she was the tallest person on that team and had to play out of position plus she did not shoot particularly well in MM's last year and the team was in dire straits. Last year, she had an injury that she did not fully recover from, was out of shape and continued to struggle. This past summer, she did put in significant effort to rehab, get in better shape and that looked promising however I think she has developed or had recurring back issues and now is limited to bench duty either through limited physical concerns or simply not able to be as effective as the other players ahead of her. Where or what she ends up being is still unknown. So @Dillon77 or @Orangutan have I missed anything or do you have something to add?
I truly believe that the majority of UCONN WBB Fans have the highest respect of Sonia Citron's talents and ability. Sadly, there just might be a very small handful of UCONN WBB Fans who just like to continue to bash anyone not directly associated with UCONN WBB. Just a "Fact of Life" I guess.
She is super “chippy” and I would love to see Nika guard her. She will definitely be bumping, blocking, chipping any all players as she cuts through the lane or as her player cuts through the lane and she will apoplectic if a foul is called on her!
