I saw Gandy. Was Serah in the clip?
 
Gandy having two tough takes in this clip is making me even more excited. Looking back I forgot she got national team experience, she understands the physicality needed to play at a high level. She also was a soccer player so her motor should be good like another promising big who played soccer in HS (Joyce Edwards).
 
Initial reactions:
  • Sarah looks Awesome
  • Ash appears to be working on a scoop shot
  • Caroline's shooting form looks even better than it used to -- higher release point on a strong vertical jump
  • Keils's form seems a little rough
  • Gandy looks incredible -- moving the way she does at that size is stunning
  • Kayleigh gets her perimeter shot off quickly
I can't wait to see Blanca Jana Ice Serah Morgan Allie and Ayanna

Gandy looks quite a bit stronger than I expected. If she is actually 6'6" she will be able to give Betts a run for her money if we ever wind up playing UCLA. Between Gandy, Jana and Serah they will wear Betts down.

Because she's gonna like Mariano Rivera and become the closer by shutting down the lane? But first, she's gotta be like Willie Mays so she can use her speed to cover the entire lane?

Did you notice that the best player in the country in that age group isn't wasting her time this summer? That is Sarah Strong. After getting stiffed for PT by the same coach in last year's U18 tourney she's taking a pass. I don't blame her at all. Moren from Indiana is the same genius that was pressing man to man with some starters in the 4th qtr of games when leading by 60+. Must have thought she was getting them prepped to play the US Olympic team.
