Did you notice that the best player in the country in that age group isn't wasting her time this summer? That is Sarah Strong. After getting stiffed for PT by the same coach in last year's U18 tourney she's taking a pass. I don't blame her at all. Moren from Indiana is the same genius that was pressing man to man with some starters in the 4th qtr of games when leading by 60+. Must have thought she was getting them prepped to play the US Olympic team.

The UCONN training staff is quite good at getting their players in "pro" ready shape both physically and mentally. Sarah looks stronger than ever and I love seeing KK talk to Kelis.

Whoa! Sarah looks like she’s already in better shape than she was last year! If she maintains that trajectory right through the summer she’s gonna be a monster come November! Hard to imagine that we could see a substantially better Sarah Strong next season! I’m soooo grateful for Caroline’s remarkable progress. Now let’s hope she’s on the court for tipoff in the first game of the season. Finally, a message for our opponents next season. Be afraid, be very afraid!

I think Sarah was smart to do the 3x3 early and then now be able to do summer session and have a real body break before fall.
