Maya didn't shoot the ball well, only 4-12, but she had 14 points, 8 boards, 7 assists, 1 steal, and 4 blocks. Whatever it takes to get the win.
Sue's assists have been down this year. Not having Lauren Jackson in the lineup makes a difference.
Maya is not shooting well today, and Seimone is out. Seattle plays Minnesota tough and has beaten them twice already.
Apparently Sue has been struggling for 13 seasons.
From ESPN.com:
With a second-quarter rebound, Bird became the first player in league history with career totals of at least 4,000 points, 2,000 assists and 1,000 rebounds.
"She's one of the greatest players to ever play in the league when you have records like that," Storm coach Brian Agler said. "She's as good a person as she is a player."
I say be patient with her, give her another ten years to work it out. Then, if she isn't up to par, get her some personal training.Apparently Sue has been struggling for 13 seasons.

I disagree. It has always been my contention that assists are more the function of good finishers than good passing.
Maybe the Huskies.Someday she'll be some lucky team's "Coach Bird"!
