Seemed like Harvard was rushed to take shots early on numerous occasions as a result of the student section's "Roscoe Smith" defense.

They mixed up the countdown throughout and on occasion it looked like Hahvahd rushed their shot a couple times because of it. It was most effective early in the first half when they started the countdown from 10 when the shot clock hit 7. It resulted in a SC violation when the player driving the lane appeared to think he had a few more seconds left than he actually did. Great team and student section D!

You would think that Harvard kids wouldn't fall for that.

It worked so well we started a countdown with over 30 seconds on the clock, then another immediately at 20. You can hear it on TV. A couple times we counted up from ten, 11, 12, 13...

Kevin Ollie specifically gave the students credit for two violations.

The students were the sixth man last night. Or, as I like to think of them, our fourth German.

... especially as they were either not cheating, or not among the 100+ Harvard students dumb enough to be caught cheating, including 2 dismissed Crimson basketball captains involved in last year's academic scandal. ;)

It reminded me of that game during Thabeet's sophomore year at Indiana when he threw up a 35 foot shot with 14 seconds on the shot clock because of the student section. It's kind of funny looking back on it.

That's ten more dollars then for the kitty!

The students were incredible last night. Where was that type of energy out of the kids at the Rent?
