Seemed like Harvard was rushed to take shots early on numerous occasions as a result of the student section's "Roscoe Smith" defense.
They mixed up the countdown throughout and on occasion it looked like Hahvahd rushed their shot a couple times because of it. It was most effective early in the first half when they started the countdown from 10 when the shot clock hit 7. It resulted in a SC violation when the player driving the lane appeared to think he had a few more seconds left than he actually did. Great team and student section D!
... especially as they were either not cheating, or not among the 100+ Harvard students dumb enough to be caught cheating, including 2 dismissed Crimson basketball captains involved in last year's academic scandal. You would think that Harvard kids wouldn't fall for that.
That's ten more dollars then for the kitty!Kevin Ollie specifically gave the students credit for two violations.
The students were the sixth man last night. Or, as I like to think of them, our fourth German.
