Strange thought: make NIT relevant?

Absolutely Not! Your trying to put a team in that could possibly have a horrible record and it finish last in its conference that would be tragic! Lol. Too many cons with this thought. I wouldn't be bad if they stopped the NIT, CBI, etc....

Probably not many guys in the boneyard old enough to remember the Holiday festival at MSG. Eight teams over the Christmas Holidays. Always a great tournement. So what does this have to do with the NIT? Probably nothing, but maybe have the NIT at the garden during Christmas. 8 good teams at MSG after 16 teams play one game somewhere else, on campus or in a nearby large venue.
