My bad I flew through the article at work. I bet he would be ruled academically ineligible as well for being dumb enough to transfer to a school he couldn't even play basketball for.

Just like Amir Garrett going to a school that didn't even have a baseball team when he was a much better baseball prospect than basketball.

Ruled academically ineligible in high school so he gets to go to college early. I love this country.

Article also mentions that he might get an academic scholarship (not sure if that is the same as financial aid), but as far I can tell, those are pretty difficult to come by. Hope people aren't giving academic scholarships to basketball players to skirt the rules around athletic scholarships.
