Stewie actually had 2 achilles surgeries. She tore her right achilles in 2019 while playing in Russia and missed the entire 2019 WNBA season. She led the Storm to the WNBA championship in 2020. Her 2021 season was cut short by another achilles injury (not a tear) that led to a minor repair/reinforcement of her left achilles. She is finally fully recovered. Looking forward to watching her play for the Liberty this summer.

And anyone who thinks she isn't winning another championship with the Liberty, watch out.
The Storm screwed things up last year bringing Tina in who messed up the chemistry.
That sent a better player in Ezi to the bench and made both the offense and especially the defense worse.
Quinn still hasn't proven she can coach a great team, she has fallen short for 2 years.
There was no way Stewie was going back to that mess for a third year without Sue being there.

Quinn hasn't proven she can coach period! The Storm has made numerous bad decisions (Quinn being one of them), and I'm so happy Stewie is now with the Liberty.
