Stats gurus, what is this?

If you shoot 3s' and free throws very good. You usually will have good TS%.
Sometime if a player only has 40 something FG%, if he takes many 3s' with fair fg%, he will still get a high TS%.

I like the stats, but they are just stats, almost concerning offense

I would say that if Nika can keep Hanna Hidalgo under 15 points, she will have a master game, but that's something none of the stats wull ever show us ... IMO
Except that Nika is much more likely to be guarding Citron. KK is most likely going to be guarding Hidalgo, although with all the switching it will be quite fluid.

In re to 3pt shooting, of the 12 teams in WNBA, only 20 players shot 40% or higher. So, what you're saying is true - but it is also thought to do because so few do it.

In RE to TS% the Las Vegas Aces had a .597 TS% as a team. The Liberty had .577. After that the next was the Snn at a big drop off of .540 per stats I looked up on basketball-reference.com. SO player's shootign with a TS% of 60% or higher is above the norm by quite a bit.
