Good chance Sticks will be spending his summer in Madison, CT. I think Calhoun wants to keep him close. May end up helping out at Madison Hoop Dreams.

Close to what? Is it 2008 again?

If the pay is not worthwhile he will most likely pass on helping out for the Madison bball camp. He was still waiting to hear back about the pay.

Barker still hasn't found v him a place to stay either. After that he will be working the Jim Calhoun camp and working out at uconn.

He wants to play in the charity game but might have prior commitments. Calhoun is also using his contacts to look for a better paying contract playing somewhere other than Canada. Snag is the Canadian team wants him back and won't release his highlight tape which teams are asking see

methodology may know better but I think he can't get released from his Canadian contract. As to why he went to Canada, I have no idea.

Kinda wish he declared after 09.

Agreed, he probably would've been a top 20 pick in 09. We are seeing more and more kids hurt their NBA stock by staying an extra year. But based on what I've heard the opposite applies to DeAndre. It's looking like he's going mid-late 2nd. Under no circumstance is it worth leaving college early if you're a second round pick without a guaranteed contract.

Unfortunately there is a good chance DeAndre doesn't get drafted at all.

One possibility is Russia or a former USSR state. The company he worked for during his sabbatical has connections there.

He wanted to try authentic poutine. Believe me, I speak from experience on this one. Eating poutine in Canada is different than eating it anywhere else.

Have his workouts been *that* bad?
I haven't really heard anything about his workouts but there is no buzz on him and he now looks late second round to possibly not drafted. Hate to see this happen, leaving UConn only would have made sense if he was a first rounder and that's not going to happen, this is just an unusually deep draft.

I think you're wrong most teams see him as a early to mid second rounder no way he drops all the way out of the draft. Dont forget he was a top 10 kid coming out of HS. Hes been on the nba radar for a while.

The thing about DeAndre staying is that he had that explosion at the end of last season that led people to believe we'd see a big jump this year, which didn't really happen for most of the season, until he went off in the tournament. So there's no guarantee next year wouldn't be similar.

Wish him the best, but I don't really seem him sticking in the league.

DeAndre Daniels, 6-8 forward, UConn. "He helped himself in the tournament, but he's just so inconsistent. Kids are going to be who they are. I don't know if he has a position. If he was a four, maybe, but he's too small, and as a three he's not skilled enough. I don't see his body getting better. He's got a thin-boned body."

Hes certainly a 3.. with good size who can consistently hit an nba 3.

Daniels is working out for Detroit tomorrow. They pick at #38 and supposedly looking for a shooter w/ no character flaws. I can see SVG selecting him there, has to remind him of Rashard Lewis a little.

I don't know why, but I misread that as Rasheed Wallace instead of Rashard Lewis. I couldn't quite see the comparison between those two.

Deandre is officially under the radar. He will be drafted in the second round by the pistons and SVG with transform him into an elite 3+D .

Detroit might be a good fit for DD. Dad and AD are very good friends. AD is the franchise guy.

Just got a call from my uncle, asking if I knew who Stanley Robinson is. Apparently he's going to be staying with my uncles family for a while in Madison while he works at a camp there
