GO Stanford!!!!!!

I do have to say that Tennessee is getting some crappy calls on them. With that said, Glory Johnson really swings her elbows! WOW!!!

Baugh has been out for a long time. Fouls? Injury? I hate these announcers.... incompetent.

Entertaining game by both teams. So far its been a game of Runs with Stanford having the last one to take the lead at the half.

Alicia Manning played well of the bench for Tenn and has 9 points Neka Oguwmike and Toni Kokenis have 33 of Stanford's 48 points.

48 - 41 Stanford Leads at the half Tenn shot 61% for the half but have 7 Turn Overs to only 1 for Stanford.

I joined the game (Channel 643, DirecTV) and Tennessee led, 16-7. Changed quickly as Kokenis made some nifty shots. Stanford gradually took charge, with Nneka making some fantastic shots. An indication of the uncharacteristicly weak Tennessee defense: Stanford has 48 points at halftime.

Johnson and Manning doing good work on offense. A strange moment: Tennessee called for a "T" for having too many players on the floor. An unfortunate result of coaching by committee, which is sad to watch.

Second half coming up.

Simmons continues to be a TO machine. They need Massengale just to stop that bleeding.

I agree

Announcers are clueless. Massengale has been in for ten minutes and they don't even know it.

So fun to watch Vols offense, I mean lack of offensive rebounds for Bunnies. They are getting out rebounded and will loose because this is still their offense MO.

It's a blowout. Good job Cardinal, bury them.

Nneka is simply unstoppable. 42 points and 17 boards. And counting. Yikes!!

She's a great player, undoubtedly. All American, easy.

Looks like it will be up to UConn to end Stanford's home winning streak, next year.

The LV have the best starting 5 in WCBB, I heard it on the Summitt so LV 84 - Trees 70 :D
hummm... Maybe I was on the Stanford side when they stated they had the best 5. Oh well, what a spanking!

I am thoroughly enjoying watching Nneka school Glory Johnson.
You know, after Nneka had like 20+ on Glory/Vicki with great effiency, you would think Tennessee would try to double her.

On to The Summitt to see why they are a better team than UCONN after this loss....they had quite a few when we lost to Baylor

Nneka played one of the greatest individual wcbb games I have ever witnessed. She was backed up admirably by Kokenis and, to a lesser extent, her sister.

The other Stanford players didn't really shine but give them credit for being smart enough to keep putting the ball into Nneka's hands.

I have not yet looked at the box score but I will put on my specs to make sure that I find any assists by any Lady Vol, then I will take them off to make sure that the large number of offensive rebounds by Stanford doesn't knock me off my chair. HUGE difference in number of shots taken by winners over losers.

Very competitive and entertaining game. Could not believe that Tennessee shot 62% from the field in the first half and still trailed by 6 points. Stanford still needs consistent guard play and Tennessee is just plain slow. Still, on a neutral court, either of these teams could be a real test for our undersized Lady Huskies.

I don't need to go there to learn that home court is worth 20 points in Storrs or Palo Alto but nothing in Waco. Tennessee handicappers' math.

Stanford, possibly if UConn plays as poorly again as they did last month. Tennessee? Not that bunch.

I haven't seen the boxscore; but the Stanford guards hit a lot of 3's.

Really big threes! (When Stanford needed them.) And the 3's, of course, provide more points per shot.

This was a fantastic game. It sure was worth staying up until midnight to watch it.

Boy, am I sorry I missed the game!

And only 7,300 fans there--what a pity. Sounds like the rest of Stanford missed some great basketball.

Card, I thought that was the case but wasn't sure, thank for sharing the correct info.
