Good points about Evina... I'll just note that, as a commentator later said, that late pass to Christyn was intended to hit her as she cut to the basket, but she cut off her path and it made Evina's pass look bad.Until that disastrous pass to Christyna & the in bounds fiasco, I thought Evina was player of the game. Three big 3 pointers, 6 rebounds, & 12 points off the bench were so valuable!
We go as far as Liv and AE take us. Especially with South Carolina. Unless one of guards explodes from the outside.Regardless of the chats opinion, my POG are Liv and AE.
She just had her heart broken. Hard to keep it together under the circumstances.I thought Tara's coldness was strange too. She made a b-line for the locker room. Players were still out congratulating our team, but she zoomed out. Really odd behavior from a really classy coach...
No argument here. But let's not forget FOURTEEN rebounds from Westbrook & Muhl against a strong rebounding team.Regardless of the chats opinion, my POG are Liv and AE.
Where's Ed?There sure are a lot of responses on this topic for a game that was starting too late to watch!!
Let's not have her go anywhere close to Canada the rest of this year.I'm so hyped with Aaliyah Edwards and what she can bring to this team in the final.
Where can I see the postgame interview?
Evina should have never passed the ball, she should have taken it back court to run additional time or get fouled.I thought CW should have cut towards the ball...not away towards the corner.
I wish people would stop saying how great an outside shooting team Stanford is. They came into the game at .355, 24th in the country. Very good but not great. That team is lethal from outside, but they missed 43 shots and were 4 for 23 from 3 point range.
Umm, did you happen to notice that the team has already gotten the yips out of their free throws? We should have gotten the yips out of our shooting by now, so Sunday night we can shoot lights out!
According to Tara in her interview UConn had nothing to do with Stanford not playing well tonight.
