That last 2 minute possession was typical Stanford with terrible Oregon D.

This has turned into a laugher. Stanford 78-65. McPhee is 13-18 from the floor in the 2nd half and has 33 points, career high. They just said she's scored 19 straight points for the Card.

McPhee is fantastic. She does not impress physically but is so smart. Ran Ionescu into a screen that must have messed up her fillings. 31 in second half. I wonder what the record is?

78-65 final. Oregon just completely folded in the 2nd half. Beavers put up a much better fight against Stanford than the Ducks did.

Oregon don't have the defense to compete in a game like this, hats off to TVD for exploiting their D in the second half.

McPhee was spectaclular today! She was feeling it!

Baylor is slowly moving up the seedlings. Unless the seeding continues to keep a 4 -loss Oregon team ahead of one-loss Baylor.

Not the result I expected. Stanford and Oregon are now tied for 1st in the conference. UCLA can force a 3 way tie if they beat USC tomorrow (what the heck is up w/a Monday game?).

Baylor should as Oregon is overrated by the pollsters. Meanwhile Cal is getting blasted by OSU another who probably shouldn't be ranked.

I think most of us recognized that after the first “Reveal” came out. I knew that they were not a top 4 team. They really are a two-player offense.

I don't know the answer, but I saw Plum drop 35 second half point on Utah last year during the game when she got the career scoring record.

Well they certainly won't be in the next poll unless they have a huge comeback.

A few observations as I finally got to see Oregon up close:
1. Tara packed down on Hebard in the 2nd half daring Oregon to shoot 3’s and Oregon wouldn’t
2. For as wonderful as Sabrina is offensively, she’s terrible defensively. She has wonderful court awareness on offense yet no concept on defense spacing.
3. Graves did not manage this game well down the end. His team was not disciplined on either end.
4. “Nanny McPhee” just won PAC12 POY today.
5. Oregon is still very young and talented but the more experienced team won. I still think this is a Oregon/Stanford Final for PAC12.
PAC12 is not getting #1 seed.

Seems like Graves is pulling a Neighbors with his lack of defensive attention.

4. “Nanny McPhee” just won PAC12 POY today.

She made a good case, but I still think Ionescu is the frontrunner by a fairly healthy margin.

PAC12 is not getting #1 seed.
Here are my observations:
1. Stanford preseason schedule has helped them in conference play. They are defense 1st team (including rebounding in this statement), but now have enough players that can get the ball in the hoop now that McPhee is rolling.
2. The PAC12 is a lot tougher than the pundits believe. While Stanford will move up in the rankings, come Monday, OSU & UO will make a steep drop.
3. PAC12 (Stanford, UCLA, UO, OSU, ASU) will do some damage in the NCAA Tournament. And, any of these 5 teams can win the PAC12 Tournament
4. My original prediction that no team in PAC12 will have less than 2 losses has come to pass, as the league is balanced. PAC12 will get little respect when the NCAA seeds PAC12
5. California is a terrible team, and no idea how they have been ranked in the top25? Just shows me the pundits don't know what is going on in the PAC12.

Ha, if you thought Oregon was poor defensively today, you should see Cal. They're not even trying it looks like. Getting boat raced 48-23 by Oregon St.

I agree and disagree, I thought it would be a tough out each game but only because the teams are similar at the top and not as good as in the prior couple of years. Which has been disappointing IMO as I had hoped that my Bruins would be better this year but our lack of shooting is a real bummer.

Ionescu just vaporized in the second half. She was gamely trying to her teammates going, but should have, perhaps, looked more to her own offensive production. She’s certainly capable.

Ionescu scored 10 in the first and 12 in the 2nd half. She tried to take over late in the game, but Stanford had all the momentum and McPhee could not be stopped.
