The 15 seed has a 28-24 lead early.

Wow. If Stanford doesn't come back, my bracket is shattered. I had them getting through what I considered to be the weakest regional before losing to UCONN in the Finals. :(

I didn't think Arizona State looked shaky.

Is Arizona State one of the top teams? They have 2 teams on the 2 seed line getting all they can get from 15 seeds.

No, but they're one of the teams in the tournament. You didn't limit your statement to the "top" teams. You said the "Pac 12 teams [are] looking shaky so far." Your statement in order to be accurate should have read, "the #2 seeds from the Pac 12 have been getting all they can get from the #15 seeds." That would be more accurate.

Uh, you mean New Mexico State?

This morning in studio they referred to them as the Lobos. That would be UNM. NMSU is the Aggies. Maybe most people don't care, but it's a large distinction for the two schools in New Mexico. Stuff like that drives me nuts, especially when it's the professionals that should be able to take a few moments to get it right. Oh well.

Stanford having trouble containing this team off the dribble while not punishing NMS inside.

Did anyone see the stat ESPN put up on the screen? Stanford has won 12 consecutive 1st and 2nd round games away from home. I'm surprised they've played that many 1st and 2nd round games away from home, since they are usually a top 4 seed.

I wish guys like Andy Landers and NMS coach Mark Trakh would go the Doug Bruno route and just let the grey flow. These guys pillows must look like two lane blacktops. Anyone remember used Xerox paper?

There were a number of years, though, when the NCAA was using predetermined sites for 1st and 2nd rounds.

That girl from NMSU that just caught an elbow almost looks like she could be another Samuelson sister.

I'm 51..and am Just For Men's best customer. Gray hair may be for some people but I don't care for it, especially since I still have a baby face. I like to keep people guessing "Exactly how old is he?"

Neither Andy or Mark has a baby face so the lack of gray is odd on them.

The gym looks remarkably empty in Manhattan. I'm sure it'll be filled for the next game.

New Mexico State is a strong team. They have won 17 in a row and have multiple players who can attack the rim. Aggressive and fearless.

Not sure about that foul on Stanford. McPhee had inside position and the NMSU player crashed into her. Refs award the aggressor sometimes.
