He's a tremendous coach and typically gets his teams to play at a high level. The only question I see with St. Johns, this year v. last year, is that last year's team was built on a lot of guys who transferred in as more role players (no alphas). This year, you have a lot of guys who transferred who see themselves as NBA players, go to guys, etc. He will need to mold them into a group willing to defer to others at times and willing to do little things. That's the key, will some of those guys accept a secondary role or will they not do the little things that his team was willing to do last year to win. I would likely bet on the former but I can't dismiss the latter. That's why they are so fascinating to watch this year.
