Hey Steve he may understand it even more if he missed the opening game vs Wisconsin don't you think?

How can anybody comment as to the appropriateness of the suspension when nobody knows what he did?

When you hear a player being suspended for "university policy", it's strange to see a punishment of three meaningless events. If he was being suspended for violating team policies, that punishment would make sense. Violating university policies tend to be more serious than violating team policies, and the punishments usually follow suit.

There really seems to be a difference between the events in Ville and St. Johns vs. UConn. St. Johns is private so they can rationalize hiding their dirt. But Ville and UConn are both public and I don't understand how EW's incident is publicized and Beneham's isn't. Same with Dyson and Wiggens. It seems that the UConn policy is different or the campus police are motivated:cool: differently than other universities.

That is an assumption. It could be for academics. Hard to say unless we know what it was though. Remember, Lavin sat Harrison and mailed the season in last year to make a point to Harrison and the rest of the team. This isn't a coach who is afraid to do the hard thing. It is possible it just didn't warrant suspending him several exhibitions and season games.

You certainly could be correct but if it is something as simple as academics you will hear about it, probably would have surfaced already!......if it's not you may never know!!
