Providence fans hate us. Florida fans want to play our team because they think we are an easy win. If only I could figure out where the connection of these two ill guided fan bases comes from. Let me think about it.

If I was a Florida fan I would want to play UConn and then Wisconsin in the FF. Not because I perceive them as easier games, but because I would want to avenge my only two regular season losses.

In 2004 we lost early in the season to Georgia Tech. When it came to fill out an NCAA tourney bracket that year I picked UConn over Ga. Tech in the final and won some $ in an office pool.

The fl faithful are bragging they are at least a 7 point favorite on a neutral floor. They brag that they will be at full strength and they play the revenge card and they believe they will easily bottle up as they say "those little guards." In most cases what you wish for is lethal. They forget to mention their foray vs. the Huskies in '94 in Miami when Donyell was afraid of contact and their PF Mr. Meathook ruled the frontcourt on a virtual home floor in the NCAA tourney. Revenge cards can play both ways . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Methinks most of these fl faithful were not even born in 1994 so they have no perspective.

MSU was a 5.5 fav at what everyone deemed a "home game" for us so do you realize how much better they thought the Spartans were?
