Euro 2013 title...watched it on iPhone via FIBA..
And Spain did not even make top 8 in 2011 Euro..
Spain's Alba Torrens looks great, as did France's
Gruda, who had about 25 in final, and both are Sun property....
Spain's Sancho Lyttle got tourney MVP...
And Skylar Diggins refused all fans autographs,
that I could see, Pre and post-game Tuesday night...
All or Most of rest of Shock team had no problem
signing...

IMHO Skylar will not embrace Sun fans, just like didn't embrace UConn fans. Even with all the success that she had against UConn, she didn't get what she wanted; A National Championship. Also some UConn fans did not give credit for ND beating UConn, it was either the refs or some other reason ND won.

An isolated incident of not signing autographs is way too little information to come to any conclusions about someone's pettiness.

I would consider it generally problematic if someone with her standing and exposure didn't regularly make herself accessible to fans, but I don't have enough data to comment on that.

I believe one stops and smells the roses, and wakes up and smells the coffee. The act of growing up entitles one to do either, neither, or both...

So Notre Dame beat UConn, but three years straight they couldn't win the most important game. Everybody will remember that UConn won their eighth National Championship. How many people remember that ND won one and when they won it? Seems a long time ago.

I think we need to get over our animosity for all things Skylar. Yes, she was a pain in the a%@ in college, but we won when it counted and she's gone now. We are all fans of the women's game, and we need stars like Skylar that people want to watch in order to keep it going and on television.

And there are players that we love to hate, and Skylar is definitely one of them, but harping on her after she's no longer a UConn "enemy" is kind of ridiculous. Seems like something the orange board would do.

She deliberately went thru far-side tunnel to avoid
Us fans waiting (a good 45 min-1hr) on usual side tunnel players go in/out
(you could easily see her Pointing and plotting that)
and after game was Invisible...coming out of arena...
8-9 teammates came out that arena exit...

I'm not a Diggins apologist, by any means (disclaimer: one player I love to hate) but I do remember seeing her sign autographs for a couple of young UConn fans during the "down-time" games at the Big East tournament at the XL Center, two or three years ago. She seemed pleasant enough then.

If you're trying to help a struggling league that is marketing you so much, it would seem appropriate. Obviously, Skylar did not spend 4 years with Geno and Chris Dailey.

I am surprised that the league doesn't have requirements and rules guiding such things. They need all the positive publicity they can get and need to communicate the expectations concerning signing autographs directly to the players and issue fines when they are not met and to back the players concerning outside the normal expectations.
