Southerland stays in w/ 2 fouls?

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but why is no one questioning Boeheim leaving Southerland in the game with two fouls in the first half? Calhoun never allows that (not for nothing). I can't imagine letting Southerland get a third in the first half. What a gamble.

That's never been a hard and fast rule for Boeheim - obviously, it stung him tonight.

When Southerland picked up his fourth, the world caved in on them....but, perhaps it would have caved in sooner had JB taken him out earlier.

Yeah and I'm guessing Boeheim didn't show up to the press conference knowing that the Big East is now over, so in his mind he wouldn't need to attend. Only reason I say that is because I can't find his presser on bigeast.org? Any help would be great.

Boeheim showed up - they're just slow getting the Syracuse presser up.

He should be able to avoid picking up the 3rd foul when playing a zone. I didn't think he was active enough to foul out of a game.
