Sounds like Boat is returning next year.

Nobody placing stock in Sam Cassell? He is having a great year and will be experienced and ready to go as well.

"his handle is not great", pretty much the most fallacious comment i've heard on boat ever.

Up there with Stanley Robinson not being a great athlete. Amazing the gems that come out of some people...

I'd love for Boat to stay. If he tightens up his dribble and sharpens his decision making he will be NBA ready after next season. DD needs to get stronger and be able to move with and without the ball and be more consistent and he will be ready. We are going to be a top 8 team next year and a NC is not a way off dream.

Whatever you guys are smoking, please send some here.

Off with the rose colored glasses guys.

If he's leaving early it's to work for the Home Depot.

At his size, he would need to average high teens to low twenties to even be considered next year.

His handle is not great and when a sizable guy is on him he can't put it on the floor and take it to the hoop. Way too many flaws.

Would you waste a draft pick on him?

KEA was a much, much better player than him and he couldn't stick

Europe is his only chance.

Really hope Boat comes back. And we could be very good.
But I'm very leery of the "Sure, we'll be fine without our all-time-great all-America point guard" routine. Got burned on that last time.

Yes, but can't see him starting if Boat is back.

Lots of depth next year at the guard/3. Would love for him to play the instant offense role off the bench like his dad did for Houston next year.

Dan Hurley is not a bad playing either and will compete for a starting spot as well. OC will really have to pick up his game and consistently hit his jump shots and play strong D if he wants to see much PT next year. I can see KO sending him out and pulling him after a missed shot or two. The reality is that Kromah has been better on both sides of the ball this year.

I am routing for the kid and hoping this year was a reflection of injuries and not talent.

This.

I've even seen it suggested on here we'll be better next season. Sorry, but losing the likely runner up to national player of the year is going to hurt us a lot.

Don't forget Phil. He won't set the world on fire, but he's been more than solid this year, and he'll have another year under his belt. Losing Shabazz, Giffey, Kromah, and even Olander will hurt..... but we've got some serious talent returning next year. I think pretty safely a top 10 preseason team.

That being said, I'm still focused on this season. If we start hitting perimeter shots again and Daniels picks up where he left off at the end of last year, we're absolutely primed to make a run.

Total Brain fart. Huge Phil Fan.

Brimah?

Come on. Brimah might turn out to be a nice player. But he's unlikely to be an NPOY (piss off Jameer). Unless he makes a 3x Hilton progression.

On one hand I want to see RB return as it improves next years team.
But if he chooses not too ,I can't blame him.
He might improve his NBA stock if he proves to be the heir at point.

I thought he might leave early ,especially after his cousins shooting death..
Making enough money to get his family out of Aurora was his primary goal.
This kid realizes he might have to sacrifice for his family.
He has got crazy athleticism and has learned to distribute. Unless he has a great year next year or grows in height ,his NBA task will be a battle.this year or next.

They never hit the weight room anyway and if they possibly do, you don't see the improvement

And how do you see "silly amounts of talent?
Are you serious? what talent?
spend some time learning who is coming in as xfers, juco and current hs seniors
as far as weight room- they will have a new weight coach with tons of proven ability
