Judy Collins' take on Pirate Jenny is excellent. Here's a version sung by the woman who originated it on stage--Lotte Lenya. It's a song from the musical Threepenny Opera, with music by Kurt Weill and lyrics by Bertolt Brecht. Weill was Lenya's first husband.
And now, for something completely different. This is for those of us who love traditional music. (It recalls my time in Dublin pubs with a pint in my hand.)
@Jackcatscal may have opened up a can of worms with his post of Maggie's Lilt. Here's one of my favorites. Matt Molloy (Chieftains, Planxty) has a pub in County Connaucht where a lot of famous traditional musicians often get together. This version of Over the Moor to Maggie is from a CD recorded by a group of them.
