One of the unsung heroes of folk/country. Married to Buddy Miller, quite a dynamite duo when it comes to songwriting and singing.

This was an interesting side project, a trio of three folk singers who all had solo careers going. I was only familiar w/ Lucy Kaplansky of the three before this came out.

In the two decades since this song -- highly acclaimed and heavily censored -- made its splash, "stan" entered the English lexicon as both verb and noun.
