A new one from one of my favorite bands.

Radio - Robert Jon and the Wreck

"Radio Radio" by Elvis Costello & the Attractions from 1978.
It's the best new wave song about the radio ever composed by humans!
I saw them play at the Angora Ballroom in West Hartford, CT back in the day, what a great show that was!

yuge fan of all things radio, starting just past underoos days. all of it - the tech, the tools, the stations. i used to chat on the ham a bit, spinning tunes on 'radio free Bridgeport' with folks from all over.
just bought this mighty mouse. watch out, prices can run up to a buck fifty, but i got it from ol reliable, walmart, $60.

beyond awesome. sort of small enuf to put into a larger pocket, and then cruise around with headphones, or just plop it onto the picnic table and get a sweet wall of sound. outstanding.
i've been using it lately out in the fields when doing menial garden tasks, and, for now, listening mostly to 104.1, 102.9, 100.9. plr sometimes also lately, as they've been cutting way down on dinosaur music. i guess they figgered out that it's actually not 1968.
reception, sensitivity, and selectivity are off the charts good.
buy one.
nikky tesla is one of my first heros. a radio guy.

one classic

as we celebrate
mediocrity,
all the boys upstairs
want to see,
how much we'll pay
for what we used to get for free....

one, just plain ridiculous,
but...... with two, u get eggroll!

name nothwithstanding, me, the original, disavow any endorsement or even knowledge of these clowns. nobody walks around singing in german where i live, especially in an 80s sort of way. i think it's in german, tho i can't really tell as it seems that they don't brush much, either.
