Songs About Radio

Nice photo finish by @JordyG and @Bama fan on that Steely Dan song. Jordy by a whisker.
I figured @JordyG got in a hair quicker because he lives in New York, and is closer to the server than I am in far away Alabama. It was the first song that came to my mind when I read the thread topic line. Congrats to the guy from The Big Apple!;)

Here are a couple to add to the thread. The first one is an "oldie and moldy" novelty record. Top 40, News, Weather and Sports.

And this is song from Crack the Sky. A band that was really big in Baltimore in the late 70's into the 80's but never quite made it on a national scale.

We already had the Pointer Sisters version.

This is the Robin Williams does Elmer Fudd does Bruce Springsteen version

Ok, I cheated.
[ Creep]
At some point I made you my own music thread for songs where the cover completely changes the field or meaning of the song. Take creep and have a female vocalist do an acoustic version and it becomes a different song.

Combo of gospel and bluegrass…

Jack - thanks so much for posting this one. When I started the thread, I had this song in the back of my mind, but I wasn't sure who did it. I figured it might "magically" come to me. Well of course it didn't, but you came to my rescue. I used to hear this Johnny Hartford version a lot out in Colorado in the 70's.
