I'm not sure what makes everyone think a game in Orlando would be a UCF home crowd. UCF will do OK, their guys get to go to Ireland too. Might help recruiting against (oh say USF)

This is a bowl trip for PSU and it's traveling horde. A horde that will be 4 years without a bowl game. I think they'll sell a few tickets.

By the way. Their AD has the travel packages already up. 13 months in advance. Anyone in Storrs taking notes?

If UCF doesn't have a home crowd in Orlando what the hell are they doing in our conference?

God please no one in Storrs play a home game against a storied NCAA program in Europe.

Unlike a team like Nebraska. PSU has a ton of alumni living in Florida. It's one of the reasons the occupied about 70% of the Orange Bowl in 2006 against another Florida based school. They'd put 20k in Orlando easy. But I suspect this game was always going to be abroad and a condition of the two-game series.

Odd they waited years to announce then. I'm not sure why it matters how many alumni live in an area. If your fans fill your stadium unless you sell them tickets they can't get in.

UCF just built a great stadium. Why would they build it if they have both no fans and no intention of playing teams there fans would want to see?

I must have misread somewhere... I thought they got rid of the home and home and went with just the one game in Ireland? Are they still going to play @PSU as a "return" game?

Also if O'Leary and O'Brien can have a game in Ireland, maybe we can get Pasqualoni and Addazio to have a game in Italy, eh?

First game is in Happy Valley on September 14th.
