Good news is, if that happens, ACC still exists and Uconn is a good next choice alongside Syr.

If fsu and clem say nO? Its byu lville cincy in that order for 12. They will go to 12 for 2013 no doubt.

If the B-12 wanted UL or UC they could have had them months ago. Texas initially was against any expansion and won't play along unless there is some substance to the names involved. FSU has substance, UL, Cincy and Clemson (even with a national title in their not too distant past) don't have enough.

FSU's president (in his public responses) made it clear that he wanted assistance in making this decision (help from the B-12 in paying the exit fee?; another couple of reasonably local rivals as part of the deal to alleviate non revenue sports travel costs?; support, financial and otherwise from boosters for the move?) when the rumors began.

It appears that FSU alone is not enough to get the B-12 to offer and FSU from all appearances is the only school that currently plays football in a conference that the B-12 would consider.
