How does Cincy go 1 for 19 from 3pt range and shoot 29% for the game against SMU and still win. They also got out rebounded - Crazy
 
SMU shot 39.9% and Cincy shot 29.9% - I guess it was because SMU had 17 turnovers - 5 by Nick Moore. Weird Game
 
SMU played like crap an the refs called everything on the SMU bigs - unlike Thursday

Don't actually believe this, but Cincy beating SMU and then losing to UConn...and then UConn going to the conference semis or title game before losing to Houston/Tulsa would be the best way to get 3-4 bids for the conference.

Cincy gets a breath with the SMU win.
UConn beating Cincy gets them in good shape.
Tulsa/Temple/Houston are all enigmas who need the Finals or a win to make it. Keeping Cincy/UConn on one side allows one of them that.

Still, I want to win it all to be sure. Looking for a 1o or 11 seed--7 seed if we are lucky.
 
SMU's Super Bowl was Thursday night, they didn't show up today Cincy got handed one for sure.

If nothing else you are extremely optimistic. If we win the whole thing I don't see us with a prayers chance at a 7 seed, barring some sort of major collapse across the CBB landscape. I see it as: Lose game 1, we're out. Win game 1, lose game 2, play-in. Make the final, 10 seed, win the conference title, 8 seed.

According to Lunardi, a top 8 RPI conference regular-season champion has never been snubbed and he doesn't expect it this time. "If I'm a committee member and I had to chose between a PAC-12 team that finished at or below .500 in conference and an AAC team that won the regular season and went 14-4 in the conference, it's a no-brainer. I'd pick the AAC champ."

We're enjoying our present paps. Glad you guys made it and hope you earn this conference some credits.

But yeah, we're still UConn, even if it took until March to figure that out.
