And his hoopmixtape that many people have seen:

And it looks like Hamilton actually tweeted that himself from Nolan's phone.

@phillipnolan0: @Dham_5 silly for tweeting from my phone

Kid has "sneaky" good humor. But he missed a golden opportunity to add the words "handsome and dreamy." He's got to learn to knock down those short jumpers!

@rpurvis5: @Dham_5 is too funny. But it's a must that he CUTS this fro he has ASAP !!!!!

They both should really benefit from the freedom of movement rules next year...practice your free throws!

Dan Hurley has a very nice touch. Excellent offensive game. He will be a scorer at UCONN from day one.

Looks to have excellent court awareness for a scorer. Based on the video's , I am very impressed with Dan Hurley. Looks to be the next great player at UCONN. Reminds me of Hamilton.

I've said it time and time again, so much Rip in this kid. The floaters, the ability to be creative and get shots off anywhere.......will be fun to watch!

Reminds me of Rip too, very much. He looks to have the same sort of ease to his offensive game. Should be exciting to see what he and Purvis can do together next year.

VERY MUCH like Rip. More athletic, and as you put it, even better court awareness. Love his passing.

Kind of a cross between Rip, Lamb, and Denham Brown. Love the mid range game.

Now, Rip had the best motor out of any Husky I can remember--maybe only Emeka and Kemba were close, though Ray Allen's days are now fading from my mind--Rip ran all day, and that's a hard thing to teach. So... watch those Rip Hamilton videos Daniel.

I don't mean to turn this into another Goodman thread, but @upstater brings up a good point: JG.

I just want to point out again what is already known: Jeff Goodman is not a recruiting analyst. He will go to one or two games with the top recruits, and makes generalizing assumptions based on what he sees at the one game, which was the case with Daniel Hamilton. The one game that he went to of Daniel Hamilton's produced these tweets:

Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN
I thought Jordan Hamilton was a gunner. Brother Daniel likes to shoot it even more. UConn commit talented, needs to make better decisions.
Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN
Daniel Hamilton has never seen a shot he did not like.
Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN
@dmizee NBA scouts told you he was unselfish? They must have been watching the wrong kid.
Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN 25 Jul
@zhummm I only watched two games last night. Both were high-level. I am not a huge fan of the way Daniel Hamilton has played this July.
Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN 15 Sep
@Uconn_Brendan Was never a fan of Jeremy Lamb and his heart, and just couldn't watch Daniel Hamilton this past July. Never passed ball.
Daniel Hamilton ended up scoring 31 points that game, but he was also playing with Tyler Dorsey & Stephen Zimmerman while the other team had Emmanuel Mudiay & Malik Newman.

Points scored for each of those players? Tyler Dorsey had 35, Stephen Zimmerman had 20, Emmanuel Mudiay had 31 and Malik Newman had 32. The final score 101-93, with Belmont Shore winning.

The game was a high scoring affair, and Daniel Hamilton seemed to let the game dictate how he would play. Can't wait for Goodman to eat his words next year when we have two of his least favorite players on our team:

@Uconn_Brendan @tsnmike I am not sure there are enough shots for Purvis and Daniel Hamilton, anyway.
