The Rhode Island logo has a C inside it and an outline of the state of Connecticut, rotated 90 degrees.

I've been following along since page one of this thread, but I refused to post out of respect for the mojo. It has been a wild, beautiful, and disturbing journey. Thank you to those that kept this thread funny and ocasionally informative over the past 48+ hours!!!! We are back!

Where do you see Pitt offering over $4M?

Actually I just watched the TV News and they said PITT offered 3 Mil and that it was 1 Mil more than UCONN. Is their information that old? I guess that shouldn't surprise me. These local TV stations want to put all their money and resources into Weather (And they're doing it SO well )

From the A Dime back piece --

UConn is expected to name Rhode Island’s Dan Hurley as its next head coach, sources tell A Dime Back. The contract is rumored to pay $3.1 million annually (a figure we could not confirm), a significant raise from Hurley’s current $1.1 million salary at URI, and was reportedly finalized after a late push by several high profile UConn donors.
that's literally the same things I heard

I really want A Dime Back to be right and love their site and podcast but do we have any other confirmation? I don’t want to jinx it and do a victory shot (as is the UConn way) prematurely.

This is going to happen, I can feel it, or is that the lack of sleep lately....Who knows

I don't think a legitimate news source had the actual offers out there, it was mostly internet speculation. Somebody had Pitt with 4 million earlier today, who really knows.
