Here's the key: Never throw anything away! We went to an auction last weekend and bought a new dining room table and chairs for $180. Took our old one (that we bought at Jordans in 2007 that we got for free when the Sox won the series) to the attic to replace the plastic folding table. That's now my board room table.

So when I'm cleaning off the old table I almost get done and there's a 1.25" screw sitting there. I'm like "you know, that looks like the screw that's missing from the screen door I put in 3 years ago." Sure enough.

I think it makes a difference whether you’re talking a guy making 30k at BK who is offered $150k elsewhere. Yes, that guy moves. Someone laid off who is looking for work and finds it elsewhere? Yeah, you move.

Hurley makes over $1m a year. He’s not in danger of being fired. Doing what’s best for his family, him included, should be priority #1. Thinking just about his career would be selfish.
