Solo's performance last night after watching replay

Have you seen Derick Queen play for the Terapins? He was on that Montverde team as well, crazy!
I stole this from our prolific resident Twitter follower that is posted in another thread. No wonder why they went undefeated.

He has improved. His effort and attention has improved. I'm sure somehow the metrics gang can prove or disprove that, but he certainly is getting after it with more intensity and focus than he was a month ago. I realize you don't win trophies for trying hard, but it starts with effort and awareness.
What games have you been watching?

He played with taped up wrist in Creighton game:

Forgot about Rob Wright holy crap would’ve liked him in Storrs. And Newell, didn’t know very impressive.

He has been my favorite guy to watch this year. His in-season growth has been fantastic

I love Solo so please don't read that much into this.

But this is the type of thread you only get after a win. Being 4/15 (27%) from the field with 3 assists is not a good game for a star player, which he is. Balls performance would've been a clear factor in the loss had Liam not saved everyone's behinds with an all time performance. The bar is much higher for him.

Also for the Solo development argument. All I remember from his freshman year was that he tried to reverse probably 70% of his layups attempts for no reason. He looked like he had no feel for the 'art' of finishing. Don't think you can blame the staff for that, he's a natural at shooting the ball, not handling and finishing. The latter has developed significantly this season, imo.

That MV team would have been top 20 ranked last year. Sick

Maybe, you could be right but don’t sell Liam short on defense.
He has improved immensely since the URI exhibition I agree. And he guards to the basket and doesn’t give up much space. Neal took him to the hole 2nd half during the Blue Jays comeback and he stayed in front of him, kept his hands up and on the miss was ready for the rebound excellent defensive stop. He’s good on that end as well.
