As reported yesterday Ball will be ready to go for the next game. Here's an article about how the new Big East rules for reporting injuries works. Why? Gambling.
This is a new development for the conference. Beginning this week, the league will post injury reports three hours before tip-off of each game. Players whose names are on the report will be listed as either "Questionable" or "Out."
"I get it, the whole gambling piece, which is not ideal," Hurley said after Sunday's game. "I think it's nice to know, from a coaching standpoint, that you can have an idea of who's going to play (rather) than the gamesmanship of not knowing. I think it's better for everybody."
