Solo Ball out for today

I’d prefer to start Malachi since he provides calm and spacing at the PG spot and good enough defense to hassle Blocker. The other guards are big enough to move up a spot.

Mullins at the 2, Stew at the 3? Or is he hurt too and Ross gets the 3?
If Ball and Stew are out it opens up a big chance for Ross to step up offensively.

Can smell a 20 point Mullins game otw too. Him or Silas has to makeup for Ball’s scoring.

it would 100% be stewart. malachi is not replacing the shooting we need from the SG spot.

Let's hope it really is minor and that Hurley is simply trying to add rest and recovery time for Solo Ball. After today's game, UConn does not play until December 31st when they visit Xavier.
I'm gonna side with this measure optimism. I agree

He took that wicked fall early when he went up to challenge Bizjack and was accidentally undercut as Bizjack stumbled (actually a foul on Solo I think). Came down hands first. Probably sprained it and played through it.

Hurley seems to be playing these games super conservatively with regards to injuries. I like it, but when March Madness comes around, everybody better be playing through small injuries.

Would be helpful to know WHICH wrist. Right? OK, no biggie probably. Left? No bueno. Did I miss the part where they specified which?

He was 7-9 from the arc last year at DePaul. So, of course, he is out.

Enough with these injuries already, some teams have has no starters out this year.

Left. Well he shot pretty well against Butler but maybe he hurt it in practice since then. 10 days off so hopefully the wrist gets better.

It was probably on this play. No way to know for sure - but the way he came down screams wrist sprain.
