When you have a team with our size and are getting out rebounded by a terrible rebounding team ... when you have Cuse giving up random fouls at the end because they only have 3 fouls in an entire half come on thats weak. That tells you our guards are not driving .. our big men are not being assertive ... Napier was 100% right this team fights with pillows. Why this team doesnt try to go to the hoop and draw fouls dumbfounds me it just makes no sense NONE, outside of being SOFT!

While I absolutely despise and do not respect syracuse ... and cant stand knowing we lost to them... I will say that the second half was a different story. Players started to step up.... this team needs to play that way the ENTIRE game not just here and there.

I'm not sure how the lanes issue escaped Blaney.

Uconn started doing better when they made their presence known in the paint. Instead of lobbing the ball around the patemeter they started to penetrate and draw fouls. Fabmelo didn't play so tough with 3 fouls til the final minutes. Uconn needs to continue to do that. I also liked the fact that Giffery hammered the piss out of that layup drive to the hoop. Foul hard make a statement. This teams needs Calhoun back ASAP.

I counted the number of charges they took, it was real easy, zero. One blocking call, Drummond nudged someone out of bounds in the first half. Smith and Oriaki are awful on defense. Same for Napier. They play madador defense.
