SoCar v Clemson (+ 11/15 games)

South Carolina was terrible. Looked like a bunch of high school players. No direction or discipline. The fans deserve a refund. Clemson is awful too but they were the more active team coming up with the majority of loose balls. Dawn Staley is extremely overrated. If this is a top 10 team WCBB is bad this year.

Watching another bad game Kentucky 21 Virg 20 at the half
Virg 8-14 and Kentucky 10-37 shooting at the half. Yes Ky put up 23 more shots.

UCLA/Georgia game yesterday was fantastic.

I have always thought that Staley is an overrated coach. You cannot dismiss her ability to build up a program, but her X's and O's are not that great.

MSU looks very good. Quick & athletic. They are going to give University of Oregon trouble.

Tina Thompson is in for a long year at Virginia. Feel bad for the 6'9" Aiyeoton on Virginia. She looks discouraged and lost on offense. Toussaint and Willoughby are regressing. Martinson a freshman guard is the only bright spot so far.

Anriel Howard was just pulled with 24 points (!, including a three-pointer) and 13 rebounds. I think MSST may be really good this year.

Jazz Holmes and Jordan Danberry look very good, but neither has much (anything) from downtown.

After a terrible first half, Mississippi State looked very good against Lamar in the second half. Lamar actually plays fairly similar to MSST in terms of guard play, and that caused them a lot of first half troubles (Danberry and Holmes got a taste of their own medicine if you may). Lamar play will likely become NCAA all-time leader in steals. Andra had a rough shooting night. Freshmen Jessika Carter is going to be great. Wiggins too. They have a bright future, especially if they add Jackson. Looking forward to the Marquette, Texas, and Oregon games. McCowan will bully Marquette.

A-A-C!

Memphis got stomped by UAB 85-54

SMU lost to Bama in OT

And yesterday Temple lost to Ole Miss <-- the team that turned over its whole roster this summer :oops::eek:

Florida lost to Mercer 92-82 :eek:

Gators now 0-3

Their coach (from a good run at Belmont) is now in year 2.

Stanford is wearing turquoise uniforms, different look for them. Up 30 on the West Coast version of USF, midway thru Q4. Just started streaming it. Stanford hit 4 3's in the first 2 minutes of Q4 to stretch their lead.

96-62 final. Stanford got deep into their bench but kept scoring. 15-32 behind the arc, 7 different players hit at least 1. Smith had 5 and Williams had 4. They overloaded their schedule to begin the season last year, they definitely aren't struggling the same way to start this year. Putting up a ton of points so far.

Southern Cal beat up on UCSB 82-39. Mazyck had 21, the Moore sisters had 18 and 11 (stupid box score simply lists them both as M. Moore, so it's impossible to tell which one is which). Some Pac 12 schools are struggling to start the season, but others are not.

She's been very productive for them so far. Baylor's loss was Miami's gain.
I think baylors fine with Cox , Brown , Smith, Decosta instead. Cox had taken upperclassmen Beatrices spot. Transferring was her best decision and its actually working out. Congrats to her!
