If you call another poster out for calling out a player, then people on the board will call you out for calling someone else out. And if you only post good things, then you are a homer. Seems like a no win situation to me.

But if you get mad when we blow 14 pt lead to providence in 2 min and post about it then you are an asshat. I believe the terminology for both of these behaviors is "fan". I think it's European or something

Because everybody was really happy they lost that game, and the mere fact that you posted about it was what got people upset. You guys are such martyrs.

Your suggestion: getting upset with the team is why people were annoyed at fans like you.

My point: That's not even close. It's dense, and setting up an absurd straw man.

Seriously, go back and read posts that day. People like me were criticizing the team--even individual players. But what annoyed posters wasn't this. It was entitled asshats who claimed that the team just "didn't want it enough," or "didn't care," and instead of actually talking about flaws in kid's games (Lamb has a weak handle) talked about flaws in their personal character.

Summation: Your suggestion that merely pointing that "might not the team have played a little better," brought down anger on you is either a willful misrepresentation of what led to frustration or suggestive of someone lacking basic self-awareness. That is why I responded with sarcasm.

I hope this made it clearer.

Its been beaten over and over again. Most reasonable posters on here enjoy criticism. I find it comical that posters claim this team is lazy and has no heart when this exact same team (minus superman) showed the most heart and effort of any team in the country last year.
