I wonder if Geno’s outburst turned off some recruits. Will we find out is there were targets that turned UConn down? We certainly lost ground as other teams improved with the portal and signings
Coach and that outburst was not a good look and definitely unfortunate and I am sure it turned some recruits off. Like you said, we will find out. We will lose certain recruits and sign certain recruits. The key will be what type of recruit you want, get, and how that player develops within the program.

There was nothing wrong or unusual about it. Geno was frustrated about the refs and how Dawn was abusing them. And that was after the pre-game disrespect. It happens quite often. Players and coaches, coaches and coaches get snippy in the handshake line. This was blown way out of proportion and you have to be blind not to see why. It affects our coach and our team but we aren't allowed to talk about it.

South Carolina did not out "play" UConn. They purposely ignored the rules that define what play in basketball is supposed to be in order to gain advantage, hoping the penalties they received for that wouldn't out-balance the advantage they gained. They won their bet, but they didn't play basketball as it is defined by the rules.

"Break the rules on purpose" is good coaching? What lesson is being taught? Winning is everything? An honest test of skill versus skill is meaningless?
Bit of a stretch. Actually more than a bit. By mid-summer people here will be asking for an investigation into assault charges against South Carolina.

I see. So, you call out somebody's view as more than a bit of a stretch and then you counter with an even bigger stretch?
