We took out L'ville at L'vile. So Florida at a neutral site should be a cupcake.
And how did we beat L'ville without any talent as the Courant stories have recently informed us.
Be fair about it, the Pitt and Cincinnati teams were not as good as that Louisville team. Beating them this year was remarkable, unfortunately, that win pales in comparison to the losses to Western Michigan, Temple and USF. This is going to be GREAT year for us. Either P will deliver an unexpected result, or he will be fired.
Our defense was every bit as good as Florida's this past year and that's what makes me sick about no bowl game in 2012 the most. We could have hired an 8 year old away from calling plays in his video game and gotten to a bowl game with the defense that we had this past year. The bittersweet: we should be represented pretty well in the draft and 2013 NFL defenses.

So if UConn beat Louisville which beat Florida, then UConn can't claim they can beat Florida, just because they beat Louisville? The "associative" property does not hold, you say with sarcasm?
And yet, according to Herbie on ESPN, Louisville is no good because they lost to UConn. What a moron. He is not even aware he is using the same logic, basically, in reverse.
When that didn't happen, UL won because they have every bit as much talent as FLorida and outplayed them last night.

If you were able to select a team to coach and had the UofL roster and the UofFl roster which would you take? I am guessing most people would be selecting the UofFl roster.

A roster as a whole? I'd take UL and I'm not just saying that because they won. I think Bridgewater >>> Driskel. I also think that the talent/speed level is not all that far off between the two...at least not to overcome the huge disparity at QB. So yes, I'd take UL's complete roster over UF's complete roster today.
Congrats on taking over the early lead for the dumbest comment of the year. Our defense was every bit as good as Florida's this past year and that's what makes me sick about no bowl game in 2012 the most. I agree that UL has the better QB but feel that UF has the better talent. If this was a 7 game series I would expect UF to win in five, six at the most.
Strong did a very good job of having his team up for this game. That was not the case all year. UL had a few close calls this year. Games they pulled out late that should never have been a game in the first place. FIU and Southern Miss come to mind. They were 6-7 against the spread this year.

Thanks Jerry! My guess is that you're a Florida fan or one of those fans who look at the logo on the uniform as opposed to the talent within it. See my post above this one and convince me that Florida is SO much better than Louisville.
Herbie gets plenty of poon. And I mean women who are not his wife. Crazy world.God, I hate Herbie
Jesus, you must not follow the game much or ever watch it.
You do realize they won all those games you listed? They also beat 3 top 10 teams I believe.
They held UGA to 20 points below their average. A&M 27 below theirs. South Carolina 20 below theirs. FSU 2 TD's under theirs. In all those games you for some silly reason listed they gave up a combined 41 points, which is about the same UConn gave up to Syracuse.
No one is arguing Florida has a great offense, but to say their D is better then UConn's is flat out wrong and uninformed.
The SEC teams are in the top 10 because they are in the top 10 preseason.
An ACC team beat the mighty LSU, and Georgia and USC look like they are slightly better than decent B1G teams.
The SEC is way over rated... this year.
