So. Carolina vs Texas A&M

SC did not panic when they were down 10, and they were in shape to run in Q4. I'm looking forward to a close, exciting game unless we get their bigs into
foul trouble.

How will So. Carolina handle Stewie?

The same way most teams try to handle our top players. Pound the heck out of her and hope Kantner and Company swallow the whistle. And I think they will. Stewie doesn't seem to get the superstar treatment/protection from the refs I've seen other team's stars get. Fortunately we have a lot of answers. If we're "on" from the perimeter we win in a blowout. If we don't hit outside shots it will be a close grind it out game.

No bashing here ladies but that did not look anything like a #2 team in the country tonight. SC should show the famous southern hospitality and send thank you notes to A&M for giving the game away.
This with panic brick after brick. For my money right now ND deserves to be the #2 team but then again you folks have the opportunity to change it all next Monday!

Any road win against a top ten team is a good win in my book.

You're entitled to your opinion but I do not agree. SC had A&M right where they wanted them after half time and it showed. They didn't panic, heck they've been in that situation so many times I've lost count. They came out in the 2nd half and executed. Tiff was great and our inside game dominated them. The Aggies was gassed in the 4th and could barely run with SC... meanwhile our starters were dialing it in and they played 95% of the game.

Had SC not forgotten there was an actual game going on in the 2nd quarter the margin of victory would've been 12-15 points.

Last time I saw such overwhelming confidence was right before last year's game vs. Stanford. Or the year before against St. John's. Or vs. Notre Dame when Skylar was there....

Agree, While I expect UConn to win, the game will not be decided by 20+ points. The game should be close most of the way with one team pulling away in the 4th quarter. So Carolina will slow the pace down in an effort to limit UConn possessions. The only way I see a blowout in UConn's favor is if KLS is hitting 50% or more on her three point shot. :)

The UCONN/SC game is tough for me to grasp on who will win (keeping my bias in check). When I watch SC play I'm thinking "UCONN will blow them away". But, after watching the game last night SC turned up their defense and Coates/Wilson were really tough to handle. I do not want to underestimate those two. They are both tall & athletic which can give UCONN problems for sure. It is easy to say, "Oh, who will guard Stewie?" True. However, if Stewie is taken out and/or struggling there could be problems for UCONN. It really all depends on how the other 4-6 players for UCONN. If they play well, then SC has no chance. UCONN's offense is just that good. I think the 3-ball will be crucial for UCONN. SC will play zone because everyone has seen UCONN struggle with a zone defense especially if their shots are not falling.

GO UCONN!!!!!

A&M put on a terrible performance in the the second half last night. On their home court. They started with a lead, and made 4 unforced turnovers right away. Just poor concentration and coaching ! SEC is really weak this year. Zebras will keep next week's game close enough to keep hope alive. Huskies way too organized .

Notre Dame will have their own issues when they play @ a very hot Louisville team on Saturday. Louisville on a 14 game winning streak after that poor start.

This will be a very tough game for us on USC's home court, the fans will get to see this matchup at home for the first time. Aja Wilson IMHO will be a leading candidate for NPOY next year, she is the real deal. While we should be confident we cannot be arrogant about this game.

The fans can be as arrogant as they want to be about this game. The players will not be. This group of player is not untested on the road.

I concur. Instead, A&M panicked. They committed three or four apple turnovers to begin the second half, which led to their demise. To add salt to the wound, those turnovers were from their senior stars. Mitchell and Sessions were more aggressive and played the passing lanes which led to easy buckets. That is what seniors are suppose to do. Lead by example. What's up with Hillsman? 6'5", two points on free throws, 1 rebound in 18 minutes.

ND will win this one. They're more experienced and Madison Cable is having a good year. Couple that with good offensive schemes from Muffet's playbook and I don't see Louisville pulling an upset.

Coach Blair does a good job with the talent that he puts on the floor. IMO, he seems a little too passive as a coach.

Passive in what way? With his players, substitutions, the refs?

Passive with his players. He's a nice guy. No way your starting center should play 18 minutes, score 2pts and grab only one rebound at 6'5".
