UCONN live broadcasts on SNY are shown as “Blackout” on my Comcast lineup grid, yet the SNY grid lists the games. Anybody else get this?

Are collegiate sports blacked out? I thought that was a professional sports thing.

I lost access last year when Comcast was bought out by Spectrum.

I watched several games on SNY last year. Don't know about this year.

The first SNY game is 11/17 vs. Cal. It is really weird because I have been watching games on SNY provided by Comcast without any problems in past years. The SNY website lists the game being broadcast. The local Comcast guide is where it is listed as “Blackout” yet there are other college games listed. Just wanted to know if anyone else had a Blackout on their guide?

Now this is getting weird, the game on 11/17 is not listed on the ESPN3 schedule?

So is there a way to find out. There are those of us who rely on the SNY-WatchESPN connection for a large number of games. I'm hoping that the agreement is still in effect.

I have sent emails to SNY without receiving a response. I found the main SNY phone number (212-485-4800) Friday night but the switchboard was already shut down for the weekend. I plan on a morning call tomorrow to get an explanation.

I just talked to ESPN and they said they don’t have the Cal game (11/17) on ESPN3, even though it is listed on the UCONN website. That means the game may not be available unless you have SNY that isn’t blacked out.

I also have sent SNY an email through their website, earlier this year, like you also did not receive any type of feed back. I wonder if going through Carl Adamec would be a better solution than contacting SNY.

I did that but it only goes out one week. Thanks.
I am sorry to hear that, maybe the guide length is based upon which programming package we have. I have already added the Cal game to my To Do List .

Where do people live? SNY games will not be blacked out in CT no matter what people are seeing in channel guides.

I just talked to someone at SNY that deals with affiliate relations and he absolutely said UCONN games ARE NOT blackedout!
